JERSEY CARE MEMORIAL
In partnership with London Architects Studio Octopi
Shortlisted to final selection before the project was discontinued
Studio Octopi invited me onto this project as art director and paper artist. Using my paper experience, we worked together to apply a paper cut out concept as intricate illustrations to an outdoor sculpture.
With our proposal for this memorial, we invited visitors to stand in the shadows of the past, acknowledging the failings of the Jersey Government and the experiences suffered by the Children of Jersey. We asked people to immerse themselves in the shadows of their experiences so that each of them could step out into the light willing to take an active approach to protecting the future children of Jersey.
